Intermittent Fasting

lean, fit woman

Scientists have known for some time that they could improve the health and extend the lifespan of most organisms by simply restricting calories.

It works, but for most people, it’s not worth it. Few people seem willing to live hungry all the time.

It was more recently discovered that you could achieve virtually the same health benefits by fasting 2 or 3 days a week and eating normally the other days.

And then it was determined that fasting for 12 – 18 hours a day also worked.

That’s my ticket. I’ve never been one to wake up hungry, so this is easy for me. Now I usually stop eating & drinking somewhere between 8 pm and midnight,  then nothing but black coffee, no calories,  for 12 – 18 hours.

Brad Pilon is a true Intermittent Fasting pioneer. He wrote the 1st book on IF, “Eat Stop Eat” in 2007. He updates it every few years with the newest research. I purchased the 2017 update in July 2019, and can honestly say it’s the Bible of Intermittent Fasting (even though you can read it in one sitting).

Eat Stop Eat” is currently on sale and comes with a 60-day Money Back Guarantee. If your New Year’s resolution includes losing weight and gaining health there’s no better program.
